I'm so glad so many of my normal dresses still fit me right now! Between the tight waistbands and swollen legs, I was over pants about four months ago 🙄This is one of my favourite summer dresses and it's actually kinda weird how well it fits me still! I guess I like either really fitted, high-waisted dresses or the complete opposite tent silhouette 😂

There's been lots of exciting progress on our extension this past month, the most exciting part for me obviously being excavator backfill day 😂 At least some order and beauty has been restored, and I've been able to get into the backyard again! This progress you're seeing hasn't been completely free of mishaps, however, but those are to be expected any time you do any kind of construction or renovation, I think. New blog post is up! It's been several months since I've done any house DIYs, what with it being kinda hectic/chaotic over here and whatnot. But I've had a very specific vision for my new office lighting for a long time and I finally got around to making my dream birdcage pendant light!
